Milton Pagliosa Mitsubishi Evolution
Dacar Motorsport has participated in the Erechim Interntional Rally 2011 through the engines of it’s customers. Two teams used Dacar Motorsport engines on this event, Comil team with the driver Milton Pagliosa and Paulo Nobre (Palmeirinha) with his Mitsubishi EVO IX.
The Erechim International Rally is one of the races on the Brazilian and South-American rally championship calendars since 1998. Being recognized as one of the most challenging events, it has red dirt terrain predominantly, been a true challenge for the drivers.
On Friday (06/05/2011) on super prime, driver Milton Pagliosa with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution clocked the best times on the N4 division. Milton’s car uses a 32mm restrictor in a turbo engine with 2000cc, power estimated at 290 bhp. The N4 division follows the rules of FIA group-N regulations.
On the following stages on Saturday, Milton had technical problems with his car and Palmeirinha made a solid rally. Without fighting chances to the front positions, Milton stayed behind on a highly competitive rally. Palmeirinha stayed on the first positions and finished the Erechim International Rally 2011 in the third place.
The rally cars tuned by Dacar Motorsport used with much success the Pro Tune dashes. The Pro Tune dashes gave information about engine health and many other technical details from the car to the drivers. With many resources, Pro Tune innovated the market with its TDL (Touch Dash Logger) with LCD sensitive screen.
