Dacar Motorsport is a company that gathered some of the best talents of the Brazilian motorsport industry. Still, without cutting-edge installations and equipments, it would be impossible for Dacar Motorsport’s team to create and perfect its projects.
- SuperFlow SF-902 Cell No 1
The first dynamometer cell at Dacar Motorsport is equipped with SuperFlow machinery. This room was built in 2004, replacing older equipments that existed at Dacar Motorsport. The dynamometer chosen was a SF-902, capable of breaking engine with as much as 1500 bhp. Some engines have tested this cell to its limits, like the Honda Type-K turbo for drag racing from one of our customers. Reving up to 9000rpm it was capable of touching the limits of the dynamometer. Even so, because of the optimal construction and fast control response, everyone worked perfectly during the development of that project
- SuperFlow SF-902 Cell No 2
The 2nd dynamometer cell at Dacar Motorsport for Otto-cycle engines. It is the sister cell of cell No 1, but with upgraded electronics brought by the evolution of SuperFlow. The 2nd SF-902 cell at Dacar Motorsport, it uses plated walls against accidents, it is capable of withstanding engines with a bit more power than its older version and uses a custom made intercooling system. Commonly utilized to develop endurance engines, some powerplants such as the ones that won Rally dos Sertões 2010 have been through this cell.
-Schenck DC101 Cell No 3
Parto f Dacar Motorsport projects is the development of Diesel-cyle engines. A dynamometer Cell with high technology was built for that purpose, equipped with a Schenck german dynamomenter. The dynamometer cell can be prepared in two different configurations, one of them reaching the capacity of 7500Nm at 5000rpm. That roughly corresponds to over 5000bhp engines. With this dynamometer Dacar Motorsport is capable of handling any engine that exists on the automotive business, including the extreme ones used on Drag Racing.
